Sitting Hare is a cold-cast bronze sculpture by acclaimed sculptor Paul Jenkins. Jenkins is renowned for his studies of British wildlife and has found particular fame internationally for his work that depicts Hares, such as the bronze Sitting Hare that you find here.
At Sculpture Gallery we have Sitting Hare by Paul Jenkins available in three sizes, small (25cm), medium (34cm) and large (49cm).
The Hare is widespread and varieties can be found on many continents. Over the centuries the Hare has become a symbol and a familiar character of the European and British countrysides. As a result the Hare has become famed in folklore, playing a central role in fables and ancient tales in many countries.

General Delivery Information
When ordering please give us as much information as possible.
For example: a suitable delivery day, if the items need to be delivered to your neighbour/work or even some directions if it's difficult to find. It is always helpful to know if the item is for a gift and whether you need the item delivered by a certain date - If we don’t know we can’t help.
Please provide a mobile number and email address so we can contact you if needed.
Small and Medium Sculpture
Sent via DPD Next Day Delivery Service - You will be sent a text and/or email with details how you can track your order. You can also change the delivery slot, as well as leave the item in a safe place or with a neighbour. It is advisable to avoid leaving perishable goods outside.
Large and Fragile Sculpture
For fragile items and large sculpture we use both DPD and TNT but may sometimes use a fragile carrier for orders within the UK. When your order has been confirmed with the courier, we will notify you of the delivery day. If we use a fragile courier, sometimes this can be between 2 days at busy times.
For international orders your sculpture will be sent via TNT. Please bear with us while we arrange for packing items. Usually this can take around 2-3 working days. Once the shipment is ready for dispatch you will be notified via email with tracking details.
We do not accept returns unless faulty goods have been received.
To report any damages please do so with your order reference and photographic proof of damage and original packaging and send to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Once you have reported the damage/fault and have agreed a collection day and whether you would like a credit, refund or replacement, we will uplift it using our courier on the day requested before 4pm. Please use the original packaging to re-package the item and package it as best you can and address it to our main warehouse address:
