About the Authentic Models collection
Founder Haring Piebenga loved antique auctions and the wonderful heritage pieces that he would discover there. On one occasion he purchased a British explorer's pocket compass and his imagination was fired by the miniature work of art that he was holding in his hands. He dreamt of the places he could discover and explore using the compass. This precious piece and other beautiful artefacts then persuaded him to recreate originals in wonderful detail for others to enjoy.
